Hello, Readers!

AC Smith here (yk’s factotum) with some Big News.

The official release of the latest entry in her increasingly amazing Walkerville Desires collection is rapidly approaching. I promise I’ll let you know just as soon as we have a hard date. But, in the meantime, I wanted to make sure you—her most committed readers—know it’s on the way.

Folks, I enjoy the unique opportunity to have a front row seat as her stories develop and, I promise you, it’s not a privilege I take lightly. I’ve had the chance watch her develop and mature as a writer, and it’s been pretty special.

From the very beginning, she’s been masterful at creating rich, full characters. [There are reasons for this, but that’s for her to explain (or not) as she chooses.]

And, as this series has developed, yk has built a wonderful, layered, and increasingly complex and interconnected community in the fictional town of Walkerville. Over time, I’ve come to regard the residents as personal friends whose personal challenges and victories I truly care about. I hope that’s been your experience as well.

Now, in my opinion, Walkerville Desires: Revelry, the fifth book in the series, represents a real pivot point in the ongoing story of this special community. There are exciting developments in the lives of some of our favorite characters, plus some new folks moving into town with stories of their own. Some of those stories play out here, plus the groundwork is laid for tales yet to come.

“Watch this space” for more info about release dates, an except or two to give you a taste for what’s coming, plus word of some special offers timed to coordinate with the release.

[NOTE #1: If you’re not already caught up with all of Books 1 – 4, this would be a good time to get busy!]

[NOTE #2: Have friends you think would enjoy discovering Walkerville? This would be a good time to bring ’em on board!]

[NOTE #3: Have you been enjoying Walkerville? Did you know one of the easiest and best ways you can support yk’s work is by posting an honest “review” at Amazon—or wherever you bought the book? It need not be complicated or fancy. Just a few words frankly explaining what you liked (or didn’t like!) about the book, along with your rating of how many “stars” you think it deserves.]
